Library Cafe
The Friends cafe in the main library lobby is open during daytime library hours
(to 5:00 pm). It offers inexpensive beverages and snacks such as coffee, tea,
cold drinks, cookies, muffins, cup-o-soup, and fresh fruit. Please stop here to
refuel on the run, or take a break at the convenient tables with a snack and a
friend or a book, and help the library at the same time.

The cafe is a significant source of funds for the Friends of the Library.
But it could be even more so. The cafe is manned weekday mornings and late
afternoons, and operates on a "self-service honor system" basis at other times.
We are hoping to extend our menu to include non-self-service items, but we need
more volunteers in order to do so.
